Visitors to India holding a foreign passport require an e-Visa to enter the country.

e-Tourist Visa, with a duration of 1 year or 5 years can be applied for between 120 days in advance from the proposed date of travel upto a minimum of 4 days prior to the date of arrival.

For e-tourist Visa with a duration of 30 days, applicants can apply between 30 days in advance to date of arrival in the country upto a minimum of 4 days in advance of the date of arrival.

e-Visa applications may take 72 hours or more for processing, please apply for your e-Visa as soon as the window opens to factor in for any delays.
